F-Stop Magazine Issue #137 — Open Theme

F-Stop Magazine has been publishing themed photography issues online since 2004. Each issue is built around an open call — most issues center on a single category (documentary, conceptual, portrait, landscape, color, abstract, alternative process, photobook), but the magazine also runs periodic Open Theme issues with no category restriction.

Issue #137 is one of these Open Theme issues. The brief: any fine art or documentary photography is welcome. Each issue features a Featured Artist selected from the submissions plus a Group Exhibition with multiple photographers.

Each photographer may submit one entry per issue, up to 12 photographs, with an optional project statement and descriptive captions. Submissions are by email to fstopmagazine@gmail.com. Submission is free.

F-Stop publishes online — selected work appears on the magazine's website and remains in the archive indefinitely. The Issue #137 deadline is May 9, 2026; the issue publishes around June 1, 2026.
