Exposure One Awards - One Shot Photo Contest

Exposure One Awards is a contest platform with a recurring schedule of single-image photography contests. The One Shot Photo Contest is its black-and-white-focused single-image cycle.

The 2026 jury is built primarily from established institutions and publications: Beatrice Tamagnini (Vogue), Lindsey Sharman (Art Gallery of Alberta), Shana Lopes (SFMOMA), Susan Ciccotti (Aperture), and Paris Chong (Leica Gallery LA).

Selected work is shown in a dedicated digital gallery on the Exposure One platform, with placement in the platform's artist directory. Total cash prizing exceeds $4,000. AI-generated work is not accepted.

Eligibility is open to photographers 18+ globally. Submission is single-image (1–5 images per entrant), with a tiered fee of $25–$50. The 2026 deadline was May 4; results announced May 27, 2026.
