Epson International Pano Awards 2026

The Epson International Pano Awards is the world's largest competition exclusively for panoramic photography, now in its 17th edition. The prize is sponsored by Epson with major presence in Australia and Southeast Asia.

Three competition divisions run in parallel: Open (professional and amateur photographers, $22 per image), Amateur (restricted to non-professionals earning less than $20,000 annually from photography, $20 per image), and VR/360 ($20 per image). The 2026 cycle introduces a new Aerial category for drone and aircraft images, alongside the existing Nature/Landscapes and Built Environment subcategories.

The total prize pool exceeds US$50,000, with US$15,000 in direct cash. The Open category first prize is a package valued over $11,000. Early-bird entries (closing June 22) are eligible for the additional $1,000 Curator's Award; final-deadline entries (closing July 13) cost slightly more per image.

Submissions must meet the panoramic format requirement: an aspect ratio greater than 2:1 horizontally, or less than 1:2 vertically. All photographic capture methods are welcome — digital, film, and stitched panoramas. AI-generated work is not accepted.

The 2026 jury comprises Bill Bailey, Aaron Spence, Dan Zafra, Jacky Lee, Daniel Kordan, Abe Blair, Anette Mossbacher, and Jennifer Renwick. Eligibility is open worldwide. Results announced October 2026.
