Brooklyn Darkroom Artist in Residence 2027

Travelling residency for analog photographers run by Brooklyn Darkroom, a New York State 501(c)(3) that supports film-based practitioners with photography and travel resources. Selected artists get up to one month on the road in 'Infared', a fully equipped 2023 Winnebago Solis 59P pop-top camper van, a $4,000 stipend covering travel, living and materials while travelling, and access to the organisation's analog darkroom in Brooklyn for development, printing and finishing, plus optional post-production support. Applications are open to all artists working in analog photography, and experimental collaborations are welcome; past residents include Curran Hatleberg, Irina Rozovsky, Mark Steinmetz, Jocelyn Lee and Dylan Hausthor.
