Artist in Residence Program — Palm Springs Preferred Small Hotels

Inaugural juried photography residency from the Palm Springs boutique-hotel collective, creating the first coordinated visual archive of the city's small-hotel legacy. Up to 12 photographers are hosted for 1–2 weeks across roughly 18 properties in three sessions (November 8–21 and December 6–19, 2026; January 18–30, 2027), receiving complimentary lodging, a $250 weekly stipend, transportation support, attraction passes and mentorship from photographer Terry Hastings. Architectural, documentary, fine art, experimental, multimedia and AI-assisted practices welcome; the first call focuses on Southern California photographers. The season concludes with a curated exhibition and sales showcase at the Palm Springs Cultural Center. Apply with 3–10 images via CaFÉ.
