2026 CWA National Open Juried Exhibition

National open juried exhibition from Connecticut Women Artists, one of the country's oldest women's art organizations, founded in 1929. Open to US women artists 18+ with original work created in the past 3 years and not previously shown in a CWA exhibition; accepted media include photography, painting, mixed media, drawing, collage, printmaking, fiber and textile art, sculptural ceramics, and sculpture (no digital or AI-generated art, no photo reproductions). $2,100 in awards. Juror: Jeanne Ciravolo, director of the Alexey von Schlippe Gallery. Exhibition at Akus Gallery, Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic, August 26 – October 16, 2026. Up to 3 works; members $35 first entry/$12 each additional, non-members $45/$15.
