XII Premio Internacional de Fotografía Jalón Ángel
The Premio Internacional de Fotografía Jalón Ángel is organized by the Archivo Fotográfico Jalón Ángel at Universidad San Jorge in Zaragoza, Spain. The archive holds and researches the work of Jalón Ángel (1898–1976), one of the major Spanish portrait photographers of the 20th century. The 2026 edition is the prize's 12th cycle.
The prize runs across three categories: Portrait (spontaneous or posed), Travel (landscapes, cultures, traditions), and Migration & Borders (human movement, territorial and cultural limits). Each entrant submits one photograph per category — single-image rather than series-based.
Technical rules are strict: AI-generated work is not accepted, heavy retouching is disqualifying, and the organizers may request RAW files to verify capture. Eligibility is open globally to photographers 18+.
The total prize fund is €1,500, distributed across category winners. Submission is free, through the prize's website. The 2026 deadline was May 4; results announced June 25, 2026.
