Whimsical

A Photographer's Place is a Raleigh, North Carolina photography gallery and creative space. Whimsical is one of its themed juried exhibitions. The brief asks for work that surprises, delights, and transports viewers through playful storytelling, surreal elements, and unexpected juxtapositions — humor and strangeness as primary register.

Eligibility is open globally. Submission is through Smarter Entry with up to 5 images. Fee is $35. The 2026 deadline was March 24; results announced March 25, 2026.
