Out of Time / Out of Place

Photographers are invited to explore imagery that disrupts chronological and geographic sense — work addressing dislocation, anachronism, nostalgia, surreal encounters, unexpected juxtapositions, or moments that resist easy placement in time and space. Documentary, conceptual, landscape, portraiture and experimental approaches are all encouraged, in color or black and white. Selected work is shown at the A Photographer's Place gallery in Raleigh (August 7–31, 2026), with a reception on August 7.
