West Coast Biennial 2027

Ninth edition of Turtle Bay Exploration Park's juried West Coast Biennial, held in the museum galleries in Redding, California. Juror Karlo Henry Velazquez Fernandez — artist, curator, founder of The Art Hunger and Arts Director for Viva Downtown Redding — will select between 30 and 50 works for the exhibition. Painting, printmaking, drawing, photography, sculpture and mixed media are all accepted. Open to artists living in California, Oregon, Washington and Alaska, who may enter up to three works made within three years of the deadline. Cash awards are presented at the opening: Best of Show $3,000, First Prize $1,750, Second $900, Third $650, plus Honorable Mention and People's Choice awards of $325 each. The exhibition runs 29 January – 18 April 2027, opening with an artists' reception and juror talk.
