Traversing Terrain

Traversing Terrain is the landscape and cityscape exhibition in Midwest Center for Photography's 2026 calendar of juried thematic shows. The 2026 edition runs September 4–21 at the gallery in Wichita, Kansas.

The brief covers natural and man-made landscapes — urban, suburban, and rural environments. Photographs that describe or document terrain in any photographic medium are welcome, including documentary work, fine art landscape, and constructed approaches.

Selected artists' work is physically printed and framed by MWCP for gallery display — the gallery absorbs production costs rather than passing them to the photographer.

Eligibility is open internationally. Submission is by email with 5–10 images. Fee is $50 for 5 images. The 2026 deadline is July 1.
