Time 2026
Time 2026 is one of Glasgow Gallery of Photography's themed open calls, inviting photographers to explore time as a subject. That can mean the speed at which an image is captured — a frozen instant or a long exposure — or the passage of time itself: how time changes places and people, and which moments deserve to be preserved.
The exhibition runs October 7 through 31, 2026 in the gallery's Glasgow space. The submission model is free to apply, pay-only-if-selected — a £48 participation fee covers all printing, installation, and de-installation. Photographers retain all copyright.
Selected work also appears in the gallery's online gallery and is included in the exhibition catalogue, and all participants are put forward for the gallery's Photographer of the Month consideration. Eligibility is open globally — emerging and established, professional and amateur.
Each photographer submits up to 8 JPEGs at minimum 300ppi and 3,000 pixels on the shortest side, named Firstname-Surname_#, sent via Smash, SwissTransfer, WeTransfer, or Dropbox to submissions@glasgowgalleryofphotography.com. The deadline is June 19, 2026, with acceptance notifications on June 24.
