Street Photography Barcelona Contest 2026

Street Photography Barcelona is a Barcelona-based street photography organization that runs an annual international contest. The 2026 edition is structured by geography rather than theme: three categories — Local (Barcelona), National (Spain), and International.

AI-generated work is not accepted — the contest restricts to authentic capture.

Top prize is €1,000. Twenty-five finalists are exhibited at Galerie Art Nomade in Barcelona.

Selection is by Xavi Herrero (festival director) and Olivier Verdier (curator, Galerie Art Nomade).

Eligibility is open globally to photographers 18+. Submission is through Picter with 1–5 images. Fee is tiered €10–€40 by category and submission scale. The 2026 deadline was April 20; results announced May 1, 2026.
