Stories 2026
Stories 2026 is one of Glasgow Gallery of Photography's themed open calls — the gallery runs a roughly monthly schedule of themed group exhibitions across the year. This call is built around narrative: photographs that tell powerful stories about people, places, and events, with documentary, reportage, and street photography as their strongest tools.
The exhibition runs November 4 through 28, 2026 in the gallery's Glasgow space. The submission model is free to apply, pay-only-if-selected — a £48 participation fee covers all printing, installation, and de-installation. Photographers retain all copyright.
Selected work also appears in the gallery's online gallery and is included in the exhibition catalogue, and all participants are put forward for the gallery's Photographer of the Month consideration. Eligibility is open globally — emerging and established, professional and amateur.
Each photographer submits up to 8 JPEGs at minimum 300ppi and 3,000 pixels on the shortest side, named Firstname-Surname_#, sent via Smash, SwissTransfer, WeTransfer, or Dropbox to submissions@glasgowgalleryofphotography.com. The deadline is July 10, 2026, with acceptance notifications by July 15.
