Space: Negative, Outer, Living
Juried exhibition at Arts Center East in Vernon, Connecticut inviting artists to explore the many meanings of space — physical, emotional, imagined, and infinite. From the vast mystery of outer space to the quiet structure of negative space in composition and the personal environments we inhabit every day: distance, atmosphere, architecture, isolation, balance, discovery, and the relationships between objects and the spaces around them. All media and artistic perspectives welcome, including photography; open to artists 18+. Entry $35 for one piece ($30 for ACE members), rising per additional piece up to five. Shown in the Marmer Gallery, August 8 – September 12, 2026.
