Source Graduate Photography Online 2026 — MA/MFA

Source Photographic Review is a Belfast-based quarterly photography magazine, with the Graduate Photography Online platform launched in 2007 as its annual showcase for new graduates. The MA/MFA edition is open to photographers who graduated from a Master's-level program in 2026 from a course based in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland.

Each accepted submission gets an individual web page on the Source platform featuring up to eight images, an artist statement, and a website link — an editorial showcase rather than a one-off feature, with pages remaining online indefinitely as part of the magazine's archive. Selected work also appears in a printed supplement included with an issue of Source.

The entry fee is £33 for UK courses or €38 for Republic of Ireland courses, and includes a complimentary one-year digital subscription to Source magazine (worth £26.99). The submission deadline is August 7, 2026.

The 2026 MA/MFA jury comprises Pauline Vermare, Curator of Photography at the Brooklyn Museum; Paul McAree, Curator and Director of Lismore Castle Arts; and Kimberly Hoang, Picture Editor at the British Red Cross. (BA submissions follow a separate, earlier track with a May 11 deadline.)
