SCAN Tarragona — Talent Latent 2026

SCAN is the international photography festival organized by Tarragona City Council in Catalonia. Talent Latent is the festival's annual project-based open call, separate from the SCAN Full Contact Award which is structured around portfolio review. The 2026 Talent Latent theme is Metamorphosis.

Selected projects are exhibited at the festival, October 16 – November 29, 2026 — a six-week run. Each selected artist receives a €500 fee.

Eligibility is open globally to photographers 18+ of any nationality. The Talent Latent track has no EU/UK restriction (unlike the Full Contact Award).

Submission is through JotForm with up to 20 images. Application is free. The 2026 deadline was April 12; results announced end of May 2026.
