Rosewood Arts Center 2027 Exhibition Proposals

The Kettering Health Art Gallery at Rosewood Arts Center, run by the City of Kettering just outside Dayton, Ohio, presents six to eight solo exhibitions a year by emerging local, regional and national artists, and is taking proposals for its 2027 season running January to December. Artists working in any media may apply, including video and installation. A proposal consists of a cover letter describing the exhibition, any special installation requirements, possible public programmes and available dates; an artist statement, resume and exhibition record; and ten images with titles, media, dimensions and dates — the selection committee sees only those ten. Rosewood also welcomes proposals for accompanying educational programmes, community projects and artist talks. Three regional arts professionals make the recommendations and everyone is notified by 10 September 2026. Selected artists receive a $300 honorarium; the city insures all work while on exhibition and covers printing and mailing of an announcement for each show. Open to adults living in the United States, though current City of Kettering employees are not eligible for solo exhibitions.
