PhotoMonth 2026 Open Call — Unity and Community

PhotoMonth, East London's international photography festival (founded in 2001, relaunched in 2025), returns in October 2026 with an open-call group exhibition on the theme 'Unity and Community' — reflecting, questioning and celebrating the relationships that shape communities, identities and collective experience amid a drift toward division and discrimination. Open to all photographers and lens-based artists worldwide, regardless of age or career level, in any photographic style or medium, with experimental and expanded forms encouraged. Free to submit up to 3 images; selected artists pay a £20 participation fee (£12 concessions). Selected work is shown at The Art Pavilion, Mile End Park, London, 15–25 October 2026, with an opening celebration on 14 October. Curated by Cherelle Sappleton, Tom Hunter, Ishy Pryce-Parchment and Leah Mclaine.
