Photobook Open Call ZUM/IMS 2026

Annual photobook call from ZUM magazine, the contemporary art department and the Photography Library of the Instituto Moreira Salles in São Paulo, running since 2017 to deepen the institute’s links with contemporary photography publishing. Open to publications released from October 2025 onwards, from any country, from publishers of any size or self-published — dummies and prototypes are not accepted. Entry is free and open to any nationality. Selected publications each receive R$300 towards costs, are presented during Festival ZUM in November 2026 and stay on display in the IMS Photography Library; a panel of external guests and IMS staff then awards the three best publications R$2,000 each. Enter through the online form and post or hand-deliver a copy to IMS Paulista — books must arrive by 26 September 2026. All submitted publications are accessioned into the IMS Photography Library and catalogued for public consultation unless the author asks for the copy back within 30 days of the shortlist.
