Photo Trouvée Magazine Issue 20 — Print Call

Photo Trouvée Magazine is a print and digital publication based in São Paulo, Brazil, focused specifically on artists who work with or are inspired by vintage found or family photographs — what's known in French as photo trouvée, found photography. The magazine is co-founded and edited by Juliana Naufel and Twiggy Boyer.

Issue 20 has no fixed theme: any approach to working with found or family photographs is welcome, and submissions can be in any media. AI-generated work is not accepted, and the magazine prioritizes artist statements written without AI assistance.

Selected artists receive a designated page spread in the print issue with their artist statement and images, a complimentary digital issue, a 15% discount code for the print magazine, and listings on the magazine's website, newsletter, and social media — reaching approximately 23,200 people across channels. The magazine also distributes to galleries in São Paulo and Coral Springs, Florida.

Submissions require 4 to 6 high-resolution JPEGs at 300 DPI, named in the format ARTISTNAME_TITLE_. Initial submission is free; selected artists pay a $40 publishing fee due in the first week of July 2026. Submissions go through JotForm only — no email submissions accepted. The Issue 20 deadline is June 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST.
