Paper Photo Dummy Award 2026

The dummies & zines category of the Paper Photo Festival in Sosnowiec, Poland — dedicated to photobooks in book form rather than the individual photographs. Open to unpublished photobook dummies (paper form) created after 1 January 2025, as well as self-published works and zines with a print run of no more than 30 copies. Judging focuses on how the artistic idea resonates as a book object. The main prize is PLN 5,000 (around €1,150), with individual honours from jury members. Six shortlisted authors are invited to Sosnowiec with accommodation during the opening weekend, and roughly 30 dummies are exhibited at the festival, 18–20 September 2026. Enter via the online form and mail a copy of the dummy (delivery date decisive) by 18 August 2026; shortlist announced by 1 September.
