Max Thelen Studio Residency

Twelve-month free studio residency (September 2026 – August 2027) at Art Works Downtown in San Rafael, California, for an emerging visual artist with a committed early-to-mid-stage practice. Covers a 92 sq ft street-level studio with utilities, plus a solo exhibition, waived membership fees, social media promotion, and scholarship funding for Marin Open Studios participation. Applicants should live within commuting distance of San Rafael and work regularly in the studio.
