L'OLTRE 2026

L'OLTRE — "the beyond" — is a photobook open call from The Docks, a Naples-based photography association founded in 2020. The 2026 edition is the launch of L'OLTRE as a publishing series.

The brief asks photographers and visual artists to work at the edges of conventional reality — visions that exceed appearance, logic, and the visible. The concept is open to interpretation: documentary projects pushed toward the speculative, staged work, abstraction, dream-states, and computational image-making are all on the table.

Notably, AI-generated work is explicitly accepted — a position that distinguishes L'OLTRE from most contemporary photobook calls. Eligibility is fully open: all nationalities, genders, ages.

The selected project is published as the first volume in the L'OLTRE 2026 series, in a limited edition by The Docks Publishing. Honorable mentions are featured on The Docks' channels as emerging artists.

The €15 fee is composed of a €5 association membership and a €10 minimum donation. Submission is through The Docks' website, 10–20 images. The 2026 deadline was extended to July 7 at 10pm (GMT+1).
