Inspired by Classics — Golden Duck Gallery

Golden Duck Gallery is a Budapest-based contemporary art gallery. Inspired by Classics is its international open call for contemporary art engaging with classical art traditions — study copies, homages, and modern interpretations of historical works.

Selection structure: a physical exhibition in Budapest plus online exhibitions in Vienna and New York. Three artists exhibit without fee — for the rest, a €100 fee is charged on acceptance.

Total prize fund is €1,000.

Eligibility is open globally. Submission is by Google Form with up to 5 images. The fee structure is staged: free to submit. The 2026 deadline was March 29; results announced April 3, 2026.
