Home Is Where I Make It — SaveArtSpace Billboard Exhibition
SaveArtSpace is a non-profit that has placed artists' work on commercial billboard and transit advertising space since 2015, giving artists a public platform far larger than a gallery wall.
"Home Is Where I Make It" takes as its theme the various experiences of making homes in places unknown, celebrating how immigrants and their children build new rituals and communities far from where they began.
The call invites artists of all ages and backgrounds, with photography welcome. Selected works are displayed on billboard advertising space in New York City for at least one month starting July 24, 2026.
Submission is $35 for one to three images and $10 for each additional image, structured as a tax-deductible donation supporting exhibition production. The deadline is June 8, 2026.
