Head On Photo Festival 2026

Head On Photo Festival is the international photography festival held annually in Sydney, Australia. The festival's awards run across three categories: Portrait, Landscape, and Exposure (general open category). Total prize pool is AUD 80,000.

The judging is structural: blind-judged. Jurors review work without knowing the photographer's identity, which the festival presents as a deliberate equality measure.

Selected work is exhibited in print and online during the November 2026 festival.

Eligibility is open globally. Submission is through the festival's website with 10 images. Fee is $35 AUD. The 2026 deadline was March 29; results announced November 2026.
