Underwater Awards Australasia 2026

Third edition of the underwater imaging competition run by DivePhotoGuide, Underwater Australasia, and UW Images. Nine categories — Sydney, Conservation, Australian, International Waters, Tough TG, Portfolio, Smartphone/Action Cam, the new Only Water, and a Reels video showcase — with around AU$70,000 in prizes spanning dive resort packages, underwater imaging equipment, and a photography drone. Open worldwide; images must be shot in the Australasian region, with exceptions for the International Waters and select categories. Winners are announced at the Go Diving Show ANZ in Sydney in September 2026, where finalist images are displayed as metal prints; honours include a Scuba Diver magazine cover story and publication in the 2027 Australian Marine Conservation Society calendar. Proceeds support environmental partners.
