HamOnt One Shot 2026

A community photography competition timed to Supercrawl, Hamilton's big September arts festival: every eligible submission is professionally printed by 905 Print and hung at CoLodge on James Street North for the festival week, 9–13 September 2026. Up to five photos per entrant — any subject, any style, any camera, phones included. Gallery visitors rank their favourites for the People's Choice award, fellow entrants vote the Photographer's Choice, and Best Film Photograph and Best Black & White are also awarded. Winners in each category receive four additional 8×10 prints, a group show at Rooney's, and local prize packages. Optional $15 photo-book add-on includes your submitted photos in the official show book. Open to Ontario residents aged 18+. AI-generated imagery and generative fill are not accepted. Winners announced at the closing ceremony on 13 September.
