Griffin Museum — Self Published Photobook Exhibition 2026

The Self Published Photobook Exhibition is the Griffin Museum of Photography's annual summer exhibition focused specifically on self-published photobooks. The 2026 edition is the show's 16th cycle.

Up to 50 self-published photobooks are selected for display at the Griffin Gallery in Winchester, Massachusetts during summer 2026. The exhibition treats self-publishing as a distinct mode of photographic practice rather than a stepping-stone toward commercial publication.

Selection is by Karen Davis (Curator, Davis Orton Gallery) and Crista Dix (Executive Director, Griffin Museum).

Each applicant submits up to 3 photobooks as PDFs. Submission is through CaFÉ. Fee is $45. The 2026 deadline was March 31; results announced after May 1, 2026.
