EXPOSED feat Witty Books Dummy Award 2026

EXPOSED is the Torino photography festival; Witty Books is the Turin-based independent photobook publisher. The Dummy Award is a joint project between the two organizations: a photobook dummy competition with a publication outcome.

The brief is open in subject but specific in stage: applicants submit completed but unpublished editorial layouts. Both individual photographers and collectives are eligible.

Selection structure: the winning project is edited and published by Witty Books in an edition of 400+ copies. Twenty finalist dummies are exhibited physically at Torino Photo Festival — providing extended exposure beyond the single winner.

Selection is by Tommaso Parrillo (Witty Books), Giulia Ninotta (EXPOSED), and photographer Karla Hiraldo Voleau.

Submission is by email with one PDF dummy. Application is free. The 2026 deadline was April 19; results announced early May 2026.
