Envision: The Michigan Artist Initiative 2027

Juried initiative of Stamps Gallery at the University of Michigan's Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design, recognizing emerging and mid-career artists living and working in Michigan (21+, not enrolled students), in all media including photography. Jurors Rehema Barber (Kalamazoo Institute of Arts), Laura Mott (Cranbrook Art Museum) and 2025 winner Sara Nickleson select three finalists, who exhibit at Stamps Gallery June 10 – July 31, 2027, with curatorial support and a $2,000 artist fee and stipend; the winner, announced at the opening, receives a $5,000 cash prize.
