Echoes of Valor

Artspiration Frederick's first veteran art exhibition, on view in the Artspiration Gallery in Frederick, Maryland from November 6 to 29, 2026, honouring the creative voices and lived experiences of military veterans, military families, and artists exploring themes of military service. Original work in any visual medium is welcome, including photography, printmaking, painting, sculpture, fibre art, ceramics, mixed media and digital art, and the exhibition seeks a diverse range of voices, perspectives and techniques. Eligible artists must be a US military veteran of any branch, active duty, reserve or National Guard, a military family member, or a civilian artist whose work addresses military or veteran themes; entrants must reside in the continental US. Up to three pieces may be submitted and all three may be selected. Two-dimensional work must be framed and wired for hanging (no sawtooth hangers). Accepted work is dropped off October 26–27 or shipped to arrive by October 26, with an artists' reception on November 14. Accepted images are also shown in a concurrent online exhibit.
