Color, Culture, Continuum — An Asian American Mosaic is an open call from the Asian American Museum of Orange County, California. The brief invites photography exploring Asian American identity, heritage, and community.
The 2026 jury combines journalism, photography, and community perspectives: Kim Chapin (Executive Director of Photography, LA Times), Gong Cheng (sports photojournalist), Hiroshi Watanabe (photographer), and Katherine Shen (art enthusiast).
Top prize is $2,500. Eligibility is restricted to Asian American photographers, professional and amateur.
Submission is through SmarterEntry with up to 3 images. Fee is $30. The 2026 deadline was March 31.
