Chaos: An Exploration of Disorder, Meaning, and Possibility

Juried exhibition at Bitfactory Gallery & Studios in Denver seeking two-dimensional, wall-hanging work that responds to chaos — visible or invisible, personal or collective, destructive or generative. It may appear as a fractured system, an unsettled world, a difficult relationship, a crowded mind, or the moment when certainty gives way; it may be imposed on us, created by us, or necessary before change can occur. Literal, emotional, psychological, social, symbolic and abstract approaches are all welcome. All 2D mediums qualify, including photography, painting, collage, fiber and textile, pastel, graphite and print works. Open to Colorado residents aged 18 and over; 3–10 images, $25 entry with $5 per additional image. Juror W. Max Thomason. Notifications 10 August; exhibition runs 21 August – 12 September 2026 with an opening reception on 21 August, 6–9pm.
