CCI Fellowships 2026
The Green Family Foundation Caribbean Cultural Institute (CCI) is the Caribbean-focused research and curatorial arm of Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). The 2026 fellowships are the program's sixth annual cycle, run across three parallel tracks: CCI Artist Fellowship, CCI Research Fellowship, and CCI + WOPHA Fellowship — the photography-specific track operated jointly with Women Photographers International Archive (WOPHA).
The CCI + WOPHA Fellowship is reserved for emerging and mid-career women and nonbinary photographers from the Caribbean or its diaspora. The fellowship runs September through November 2026 in hybrid format, with the in-person residency component held at El Espacio 23 in Miami during September. Funding includes a stipend, up to $4,000 in production funds, and round-trip airfare for non-Miami-based fellows. Mentorship and collaboration opportunities extend through Green Space Miami and the FIU Latin American and Caribbean Center (FIU-LACC).
The brief's definition of photographic practice is deliberately expansive: image-making with or without cameras, automated and computational processes, augmented photography, and the collecting, archiving, and circulation of images. The framing fits both traditional photographic projects and research-led or post-photographic work.
All three CCI fellowships share a June 1, 2026 deadline (11:59 PM EDT) and require a 500-word cover letter, CV, 500-word artist statement, 1,000-word project proposal with budget and timeline, and a portfolio. Application is free. International applicants must secure their own visas — PAMM cannot sponsor.
