Athens Photo Festival 2026

Athens Photo Festival is the major international photography festival held annually in Athens, Greece. The festival's main exhibition runs at the Benaki Museum / Pireos 138 — Athens's principal venue for contemporary art programming.

Approximately 80 artists are selected for the festival exhibition across 3,000+ square meters of exhibition space. Production costs are covered by the festival, plus two-night accommodation in Athens for selected artists.

Beyond the main exhibition, selected artists access additional opportunities: portfolio reviews, Talent Lab (the festival's mentorship program), and an artist residency component with a €600 honorarium.

All genres welcome — fine art, conceptual, documentary, installation. Eligibility is open globally.

Submission is through the festival's website with up to 20 images. Fee is €25. The 2026 deadline was March 17; results announced March 30, 2026.
