Arty Rat Magazine Open Call

Arty Rat is an independent art magazine based in Vienna. The open call invites artists and photographers worldwide to submit contemporary visual work for the magazine.

Selection has multiple tiers: two artists are chosen for cover features, and one artist receives free participation in an Arty Rat group exhibition in Vienna — bypassing the standard exhibition entry fees.

Eligibility is open globally to artists 18+. The fee structure is staged: free to submit, with an €35–€100 fee charged only if accepted for publication.

Submission is by email with up to 6 images. The 2026 deadline was April 1.
