Artphilein Open Call 2026

The De Pietri Artphilein Foundation is a Lugano, Switzerland photography foundation that runs an annual open call. The 2026 brief is themed around adolescence from an internal perspective — work engaging with digital culture, identity negotiation, and contemporary pressures experienced by young people.

The brief asks photographers to look at adolescence from inside the experience rather than as observation from outside.

Selection is by Caterina De Pietri, curator of the Artphilein Foundation. Single-juror selection.

The winner receives a solo exhibition at Artphilein Library in Autumn 2026, publication in Artphilein Dossier (the foundation's publication series), and CHF 1,000 cash award.

Eligibility is open globally. Submission is by Google Form with a single PDF containing 10–20 images. Application is free. The 2026 deadline was April 15; results announced April 30, 2026.
