Artist in Residence 2027

Twelve-week residencies in the foothills west of Denver, offered three times across 2027 (February 1 – April 30, May 10 – August 6, and August 16 – November 12). Residents get housing in a private one-bedroom cottage, a private studio with 24-hour secure access, paid teaching and workshop opportunities, exhibition space, an artist page on the CAE website and a $250 monthly stipend paid on completion ($750 total), plus chances to sell work at CAE events. In return each artist develops and facilitates one community programme tied to their residency plan. Open to artists 18 and over living and working in the US; photography, film, video, new media and interdisciplinary practice are all eligible, though digital artists must bring their own equipment.
