Annual Exhibition 2027 — Royal Scottish Academy Building

Visual Arts Scotland's flagship annual open exhibition returns to the Upper Galleries of the Royal Scottish Academy Building on Princes Street, Edinburgh, in January 2027, in partnership with ESSA. Open globally to members and non-members across all visual arts and contemporary craft, including fine-art photography. Submit up to 5 works completed within the last three years and not previously shown at the RSA or with VAS in the past five years. Non-members pay £15 per work; VAS members submit their first three works free. Selected artists pay a one-time £15 installation fee, and sales carry a 40% commission (35% for Professional Members). Selection results announced September 17, 2026.
