Across America 2026

The Art Center is a community gallery in historic downtown Dover, New Hampshire. "Across America 2026" is the gallery's themed exhibition for 2026, inviting work that celebrates America's diverse and dynamic essence — landscapes, people, culture, or any aspect that embodies the nation's spirit. The brief is interpretive: literal documentary, abstract, conceptual, and traditional landscape work are all welcome.

Each artist submits up to 3 images forming a cohesive series. The exhibition was originally launched as a national photography exhibition; the 2026 edition has expanded to welcome artists working in all mediums. The exhibition runs July 13 through August 31, 2026.

All accepted work must be for sale and cannot be removed during the exhibition. Sales terms split commission with the artist receiving 70% of sale price. Members of The Art Center enter free; non-member entry is $25 for up to 3 images.

Eligibility is restricted to U.S. artists aged 18 and over, at all skill levels. Jurors are TBA. Submissions go through ArtCall. The 2026 deadline is June 14; results announced June 16.
