Abundance

A Photographer's Place is a Raleigh, North Carolina photography gallery and creative space. Abundance is one of its themed juried exhibitions, framed around a deliberately ambivalent prompt: abundance as both presence and paradox — accumulation and scarcity, fullness and absence, wealth and waste.

The brief invites documentary, staged, abstract, or experimental approaches. Selection criteria are thematic relevance, technical quality, originality, and artistic vision. Selection is by Sarah Shae Roberto.

Production is photographer-managed: selected artists may opt to have work printed on the gallery's Canon ImageProGraf Pro-1100 for an additional fee, but printing is not bundled into the entry.

The exhibition runs May 1–30, 2026 with the opening reception on May 1. Eligibility is open globally. Submission is through Smarter Entry with up to 5 images. Fee is $35 for 5 images.

The 2026 deadline was April 21; results announced April 23, 2026.
