Abstract 2026

The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is a UK gallery that runs themed international juried exhibitions on a recurring schedule. Abstract 2026 is the gallery's call for work engaging with abstraction in any photographic style — from constructed studio work through long-exposure landscapes through experimental processes.

The gallery's fee structure is unusual: free to submit, with a £48 fee charged only if work is accepted for exhibition. Selected work is shown both in a month-long physical gallery exhibition in Glasgow and in an online gallery on the gallery's website.

Production is gallery-supplied: images are printed on Fujifilm photographic paper and framed in standard gallery frames. Photographers retain all copyright.

Eligibility is open globally. Submission is by email via file transfer with 1–8 images. The 2026 deadline was April 24; results announced April 29, 2026.
