AAP Magazine #57 Portrait

All About Photo Magazine (AAP Magazine) runs themed photography contests on a rolling schedule. Each issue is built around an open call. AAP Magazine #57 is the portrait-themed cycle.

The brief is broad in approach: portraiture across all styles, including studio, candid, self-portraits, and conceptual work. Selection criteria are creativity, originality, and visual impact.

Selection is by Sandrine Hermand-Grisel, founder and editor of All About Photo — single-juror rather than panel.

The winner receives $1,000 cash and publication in AAP Magazine #57. Selected photographers are featured on the All About Photo platform.

Eligibility is open to professional and amateur photographers 18+. Submission is through the All About Photo website with up to 40 images. Fee is tiered $30–$35. The 2026 deadline was April 28; results announced June 15, 2026.
