Transforming Landscapes — 20/20 Photo Festival 2026

The 20/20 Photo Festival is a Philadelphia photography festival held at Cherry Street Pier on the Delaware River. The 2026 cycle is themed "Transforming Landscapes," tied to the United States' 250th anniversary year — the brief invites work that engages with the evolution of the American landscape across physical terrain, technological change, social and political shifts, scientific knowledge, and artistic expression.

The competition is restricted to analog photography. Eligible film types include color negative, black-and-white, slide, and instant film. Eligible formats include 35mm, 120 medium format, 4×5 large format, 110, and 126. Digital capture is not accepted; the festival positions itself specifically as an exhibition for film-based work.

Cash prizes: $500 first place, $250 second, $150 third. Honorable Mentions receive a selection of local Philadelphia photography goods. Selected work is exhibited at Cherry Street Pier during the festival, September 10–13, 2026, with a feature spotlight at the festival's photo book fair on September 12.

The 2026 cycle is juried by Andrew Piccone, a Philadelphia-based photographer. Submissions are made through Google Form. Eligibility is open internationally to photographers working in analog processes. The 2026 cycle accepts submissions May 1 through June 1.
