The Process Room - Open Call for Workshops & Artworks

Alternative Processes is a London-based platform focused on alternative photographic processes — cyanotype, salt prints, gum bichromate, lumen, photogram, wet plate, and other historical or non-standard techniques. The Process Room is an open call presented in collaboration with Photobook Cafe.

The call has a dual structure: it accepts both workshop proposals (for artists who teach alternative processes) and finished artworks (for artists who use them). Selected workshops run as part of The Process Room programming; selected artworks are exhibited.

Eligibility is open. Submission is through Google Form. Fee is pay-what-you-can. The 2026 deadline was March 31.
