Tasweer 2026 Single Image Award

Tasweer is Qatar's photography festival, organized by Qatar Museums. The Single Image Award is the festival's short-form companion to the Project Award — built around individual photographs rather than long-form bodies of work.

The brief asks each photographer to submit one image representing their personal narrative and experience. Winners receive 2,000 QAR (~$550) per awardee. Selected images are shown in an online exhibition and featured as part of Tasweer Photo Festival Qatar's public and digital programme.

Eligibility is open to photographers aged 18+ currently residing in the Western Asia and North Africa (WANA) region — same country list as the Project Award. Photographers may apply to both awards in the same cycle.

Submissions are JPEG or TIFF, maximum 3,000 pixels on the longest side, 3–8 MB. Application is free, made through Qatar Museums' application portal. The 2026 deadline was May 1.
