Seeing America

Viewpoint Photographic Art Center is a Sacramento, California photography gallery. The 2026 Seeing America exhibition is timed to the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence — the brief asks photographers to interpret America as it stands now, two and a half centuries on.

The exhibition runs during Photography Month Sacramento, the city's annual photography programming.

Selection is by Eric Lindberg, adventure travel photographer. Top prize is $400.

Eligibility is open globally. Submission is through EntryThingy with up to 4 images. Fee is tiered $30–$50. The 2026 deadline was March 18; results announced March 23, 2026.
