Open Panoràmic 2026 — Burning with Desire

Festival Panoràmic is a Catalan visual culture festival held across Granollers, Barcelona, and Terrassa, with its open call program based at Carrer Major 16, Castellbisbal. The 2026 edition is the festival's 10th anniversary cycle.

The 2026 theme is "Burning with Desire," timed to the bicentennial of photography (1826–2026). The brief positions photography and cinema as practices of desire — for memory, justice, beauty, and permanence. The framing is broad: still image work, time-based pieces, and installation are all welcome.

Submissions are accepted in three distinct categories: Still Image (single works or series), Audiovisual Essay (.MOV or .MP4 files, 5 to 18 minutes), and Installation & Other Formats (non-primary image media engaging with visual culture). Each artist or collective may submit one project per category, with up to two categories total.

Selected projects are included in the Panoràmic 2026 exhibition programme. Transport, installation, and deinstallation terms are negotiated with selected artists where physical work requires it.

Eligibility: artists and collectives of any nationality aged 18 or over. Projects must have been created between 2022 and 2026, and applicants must hold copyright and exhibition rights. Submission is free of charge. The 2026 deadline is May 25, 2026 at 23:59.
